These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of MIRA: AI Makeup Pro (“MIRA,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), package name com.mira.makeup, including the application, related services, and this website.
1. Acceptance of These Terms
By downloading, accessing, or using MIRA, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use MIRA.
If you use MIRA on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and “you” includes the organization.
2. What MIRA Provides
MIRA offers AI-powered creative tools that can apply a selected makeup or color direction to a photo you choose and produce a visual makeup preview. Features and availability may change over time, and certain functions may require a compatible device, internet access, or permissions you choose to grant.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old, or the higher minimum age required in your location, to use MIRA. If you have not reached the age of legal majority where you live, you may use MIRA only with permission from a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms.
4. Your Photos, Directions, and Previews
You retain any rights you hold in photos, instructions, and other content you submit (“User Content”). You give us a limited, non-exclusive permission to host, reproduce, process, modify, and transmit User Content only as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, maintain, and support MIRA, comply with law, and enforce these Terms.
You represent that you own or have all rights, permissions, and consents needed to submit and process your User Content. If a photo shows another person, you are responsible for obtaining any permission required to use that photo.
AI-generated previews may be imperfect, unexpected, similar to content generated for others, or different from real-world results. You are responsible for reviewing a preview before relying on, saving, publishing, or sharing it.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use MIRA to:
- break any law or violate another person’s rights, including privacy, publicity, intellectual-property, or contractual rights;
- process a person’s image without any permission required by applicable law;
- harass, exploit, defraud, impersonate, threaten, or harm another person;
- create or distribute deceptive, non-consensual intimate, abusive, or exploitative content;
- create sexual or exploitative content involving minors;
- introduce malicious code, interfere with service operation, bypass security or access controls, or attempt unauthorized access;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code except where applicable law expressly permits it; or
- use automated means to access MIRA in a way that overloads or disrupts the service.
We may investigate suspected misuse and restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect MIRA, users, third parties, or legal compliance.
6. MIRA Intellectual Property
MIRA, including its software, interface, visual design, branding, and related materials, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use MIRA for its intended purpose.
These Terms do not transfer ownership of MIRA or our intellectual property to you. You may not copy, sell, sublicense, distribute, or create derivative works from MIRA except as expressly allowed by us or applicable law.
7. Paid Features and Google Play
MIRA may offer paid features, in-app purchases, or subscriptions through Google Play. If paid features are offered and you choose to purchase them, the price, billing period, renewal terms, trial terms, and other material purchase details will be shown to you before you confirm the transaction.
Google Play processes eligible payments under its own terms. You can manage or cancel an eligible subscription through your Google Play account settings. Any refund request is subject to the purchase terms and applicable law. MIRA does not promise that paid features, subscriptions, or trials will always be available.
8. Service Changes and Availability
We may add, update, limit, suspend, or discontinue features. We do not guarantee that MIRA or any specific feature will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. You are responsible for maintaining any copies of content you wish to keep where the app gives you the ability to do so.
9. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MIRA is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that previews will be accurate, realistic, unique, suitable for a particular purpose, or representative of real-life makeup results.
Makeup appearance may differ based on lighting, screen settings, facial features, skin tone, application technique, and the actual products used. Always follow manufacturer instructions and consider professional guidance where appropriate.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some of the above may not apply to you.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we and our affiliates, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or opportunities, arising from or related to MIRA.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Your jurisdiction may provide rights that cannot be waived by contract.
11. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of MIRA, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms or another person’s rights.
12. Suspension and Termination
You may stop using MIRA at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, created a risk of harm, or if restriction is required to protect the service or comply with law.
Provisions that by their nature should continue after termination will survive, including provisions concerning ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and disputes.
13. Applicable Law
These Terms are governed by applicable law, without giving effect to conflict-of-law rules. Any mandatory consumer protections and rights available where you live remain unaffected.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to MIRA, our practices, or legal requirements. We will post the revised Terms and update the “Last Updated” date. If required by law, we will provide additional notice. Your continued use after updated Terms take effect means you accept them.
15. General Terms
If a provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our consent. These Terms and the referenced Privacy Policy form the agreement between you and us regarding MIRA.
